The window next to our changing table looks out to the backyard where the cherry and apple tree are. This means I see them more often (changing lots of diapers these days) and it has been fascinating to watch the transformation. Just a few days ago, it seems, there weren't any blooms on the tree. Each day the buds have appeared, grown bigger and are now starting to bloom. It is beautiful. And, as the story of St. Patrick reminds me, we have complete faith that this will happen each year. We believe that this "resurrection" will happen each spring and it never fails. May my faith in Jesus Christ be just as strong as I believe that he will redeem, heal, and move within our lives.
