He gave me a questioning look while pulling out his baton, but I told him that, no he did not need to hit me with his baton to demonstrate that I was in trouble with the police…
I have to say, I wasn’t sure if Argentine police officers would be willing to play along with a silly American, but he was a great sport and I give him kudos for allowing a group of American girls to harass him. Actually, by the time he took a picture with one of the other girls he seemed pretty smug.
